A Dozen More Dazzlers (Stephen Chin) for String Orchestra
These fun yet educational pieces compliment the earlier publication "A Dozen Dazzlers". They are designed to bridge the gap between absolute beginner repertoire and works for elementary ensemble. Devices such as unison, simple part playing and call - response have been used throughout. The pitches are mostly from the D major scale, although a number of keys have been used. Many techniques such as pizzicato, harmonics and tremolo have been employed to add to the joy of playing a string instrument.
